Landscaping Completed

Woohoo!!  Our landscaping is finally done!  Steve and I decided to do it all  on our own.  Let me tell you, it was HARD WORK but worth it.  We saved money doing it on our own, and we have the satisfaction of knowing we did it!!

When we moved in the front yard and back yard were both pure dirt.  Here is before…

We put in rock, sod, plants, trees, and mulch.  I love the after!!

Here is the dry river bed we put in.  My favorite part!

I love the Russian Sage we planted.   They smell amazing.

Steve and I want to say a big “THANK YOU” to everyone who helped out.  My mom and dad, Steve’s mom, Greg from down the street, Mike K., David K. and his Bobcat.

“A Berry Sweet Summer”

Last night I had the privilege of spending the evening with a few great girls from church at “A Berry Sweet Summer” event.  It was exactly what I needed!!  I met new friends, saw an old friend, and had the chance to spend some time with a few very crafty girls.

There is a first time for everything!!  This is my very first card and it came out great:).  I’ll be honest, it mostly looks great because I had step by step instructions from Tiffany.  She is amazing!  Not only are her cards super adorable, but she is super sweet.  You can check out her cute cards at http://tiffanypastor.blogspot.com/ .

Thanks to everyone who made “A Berry Sweet Summer” so special.  The crafts, desserts, gifts,  and young moms were all amazing!!
